Description

24 West Street is a 18th-century building featuring flint walls with red brick dressings and an old tiled roof. It has two storeys and two gabled dormers, with three early 19th-century casement windows. The central door is topped by a small flat hood supported by brackets. To the east side, there is a one-storey outshut that is weatherboarded. This building is part of a group that includes No 35, its garden wall, Nos 37 and 39, and extends to Nos 58 to 74 (even), Nos 82 to 114 (even), and Nos 124 to 128 (even), as well as the pavement surfaces and listed walls above the entrance to Adwell Square.
