Description
The White Hart Hotel Bar is a house and former bakery, now part of a hotel, likely dating from the 17th century with an 18th-century front. The building is constructed of brick, with some rubble and timber framing, and features an old plain-tile roof with brick ridge stacks. It has a two-unit plan with a long rear wing and stands two storeys tall. The front has two windows made of brick in Flemish bond, with a stepped plinth, a storey band, and a dentil eaves course. The entrance and a three-light casement are located in the left bay, both topped with segmental arches, while the right side has a shop front. On the first floor, there are two three-light leaded casements. The roof has a stack positioned to the left of centre. The long rear range is made of rubble and includes some timber framing. Inside, there are chamfered and stopped beams along with open fireplaces.
