Description

This barn, located approximately 30 metres northeast of Numbers 1 and 2 Cottesmore House, likely dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a corrugated iron roof. The barn has four bays and includes plank doors situated to the right of the centre. There is an opposing gabled midstrey at the rear, topped with a plain-tile roof, and it has ventilation slits. The left return showcases timber framing with weatherboarding. Inside, the roof is supported by a queen post and strut structure.
