Description
Thatched Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. The building features painted brick on the right side of the ground floor, while the left side has painted flint with brick dressings on both the ground and first floors. The first floor has timber framing with angle braces and painted brick infill. The roof is thatched and includes brick stacks. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window range. There is a four-panel door at the centre, with two-light casements on the left and right sides. The first floor has two three-light casements located in the centre and to the right. The roof is half-hipped, with end stacks on the left and right and a ridge stack to the left of centre. The interior has not been inspected, and there are lean-to additions on the left and right returns.
