Description
Wellesley House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of painted brick and has a plain tile roof with a central brick ridge stack. The building likely follows a lobby-entry plan and features two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a flat hood supported on shaped brackets. On either side of the door are four-light 20th-century casements. There is a flat brick band between the ground and first floors, which is broken above the door. The first floor has a two-light wooden casement in the center, flanked by three-light wooden casements on both sides. The eaves are stepped brick, and there are two gabled dormers. The interior has not been inspected. To the left, there is a 19th-century two-storey wing with a hipped roof that projects from the main building.
