Description
Coombe End Cottages is a house from the early 18th century. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings and has a plain tile roof with brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and features a two-window range. A central plank door is set beneath an open timber frame porch that has a gabled plain tile roof. On either side of the door are two-light casements with segmental brick heads. There is a flat brick band between the ground and first floor, and two-light casements are also present on the first floor to the left and right. The eaves are adorned with a dentil cornice, and the roof is hipped to the left, with a stack on the left and a ridge stack on the right.
Adjacent to this cottage is a 19th-century house built in a similar style, also made of grey brick with red brick dressings and a plain tile roof. This house is two storeys tall and has a three-window range, featuring a plank door to the left and two-light casements in all openings. Its roof is hipped to the right, with a stack located on the right side.
