Description
The Old House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with a Victorian front. It has a rendered base and roughcast finish to the front, while the sides and rear are timber-framed with rendered infill. The roof is covered in plain tiles featuring fish-scale patterns, and there is a central brick ridge stack. A central Victorian timber-framed gabled porch with a tiled roof leads into the house. On the ground floor, there are two 4-light casement windows, and on the first floor, there are 4-light casements on the left and right, with two one-light casements in the center. Inside, the house features dog-leg stairs with winders and original fireplaces on the ground floor, one on the right and one on the left, although the left fireplace is blocked.
