Description

This is a headstone commemorating Thomas Greeneinge, who died in 1639. It is made of limestone and dates from the mid-17th century. The headstone is small with a three-sided head and is located approximately 9 meters southeast of the porch of the Church of St. Mary. It faces a similar inscribed footstone, which is part of the same memorial. This headstone is a well-preserved and complete example of an early type.
