Description

Red Lion House is a public house that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 18th century. The building features colourwashed roughcast with brick quoins and has Welsh slate roofs with brick stacks. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall. The symmetrical three-window front includes a central arched doorway with a six-panel door and a semi-circular overlight. The sash windows are topped with cambered gauged brick arches, and all openings have brick dressings. The hipped roof is complemented by tall flanking stacks and a wooden eaves soffit that is decorated with shallow modillion blocks. The interior has not been inspected.
