Description

BANBURY ROAD 1. 1485 (East Side) No 62 SP 5107 NW 1/33D 29.1.68. II 2. 1864. Designed by E G Bruton. Distinguished mid-Cl9 house. Brick with lighter brick lines. Tall dark tile roof. Stone dressings to all windows. Gables and dormers. Buttress. Distinctive design incorporating the Ruskinian doorway with its beautful carving by J H Pollen who worked on the Museum.
