Description

No. 60 on Banbury Road is a building dating from 1864, designed by William Wilkinson. It is illustrated in his book "English Country Houses". The structure is made of yellowish brick and features a dark tiled roof. Notable architectural elements include an octagonally hipped tower with a sloping roof, a stone turret above an oriel window on the corner, and stone window dressings. The building has an arched entrance and showcases an original and very convincing design.
