Description
No 84 on High Street is a late 18th-century house and shop with a four-storey stuccoed front and cellars. The shop front features four modern Corinthian pilasters and a dentilled cornice, along with a shop fascia board on the frieze. On the first floor, there is an iron balcony and two semi-circular arched window frames with casements, recessed tympana, and rectangular recessed fanlights in moulded frames. The second floor has two sash windows in moulded frames with cills. A moulded cornice is present at the third floor, which also has two sash windows in moulded frames. All sash windows include glazing bars. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the south side of the street.
