Description
Balliol College Library, located in the Front Quadrangle, dates back to 1485. The western part of the library was built in 1431, while the eastern part was constructed between 1477 and 1490. The south front of the library was partially refaced in Clipsham stone in 1905, and the north front was also refaced in 1905.
