Description
Balliol College's Fisher Buildings, located in the Garden Quadrangle, date back to 1485 and were later altered in 1769 by architect Henry Keene. The south front facing Broad Street was refaced in 1877 using Bath ashlar. The north front underwent repairs with plastic in 1933. In recent years, the building was reroofed with Buttermere Westmorland slates.
