Description

The Boundary Wall of the Grove at Magdalen College dates from the late 15th century. It is constructed of castellated stone and runs approximately 600 yards in length and stands about 12 feet high. The wall extends along the north and west sides of the Grove, starting from the corner of High Street and Longwall Street North, continuing to the north-west corner of the Grove, and then east to Holywell Ford.
