Description
Nos 11 and 13 on Banbury Road are a pair of houses built around 1855 by Samuel Lipscomb Seckham. They are constructed of stucco and feature two storeys with an attic, presenting four windows across the front. The doors project on either side of the windows. The ground floor windows and doors have decorative vermiculated surrounds, while the upper floor is plain. The ground floor also has vermiculated quoins, with plain quoins above. The ground floor windows are arched sash windows, and the first floor features sashes with Gibbs surrounds. The building is topped with a cornice and a parapet, and has a slate mansard roof with two arched dormers. Nos 7 to 21 (odd) form a group with these houses.
