Description
Quartermain's Stables, located between Nos 6 and 7 on Bear Lane, is an early to mid-19th century building constructed of red brick. It is a single storey structure with an attic. The central feature is an elliptical arch that includes a keystone and imposts, and this arch is inscribed with the name 'Quartermain's Stables'. There are small windows on either side of the arch. The entrance is marked by double gates leading to a cobbled stone path. Quartermain's Stables, along with Nos 5 to 7, forms a cohesive group of buildings.
