Description

No. 5 Bear Lane is a 17th-century house featuring five storeys, constructed with roughcast timber framing and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It has yellow brick stacks. The south front of the building has an overhang at the first floor. On the ground and first floors, there is a three-light sash window, and on the second floor, there is another sash window. All windows are set in moulded wood frames with glazing bars. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 5 to 7 Bear Lane and Quatermain's Stables.
