Description
The Manor Farmhouse is a building originally from the 17th century, but it was altered and converted into a residence around 1935 by a member of the Rose Innes family, whose coat of arms featuring three mullets and a border check pattern is displayed above a new porch. The farmhouse is two stories high, constructed of rubble with an old red tile roof and gabled attic dormers. It features two stacks with stone bases and brick shafts, one of which has a cluster of three shafts. The windows have been replaced with modern casements. Inside, the ground floor includes a stone fireplace with a four-centred head and moulded jambs, along with some possibly original rough and ancient screen panelling. Although the first floor was not examined, it is noted that there is a fireplace similar to the one on the ground floor.
