Description

Stoke Place is a two-storey house. The core of the building likely dates to the 17th century, although it has been modernised and extended with three additions at different times. It is constructed of rubble with a modern roof covered in brown tiles, incorporating two modern gabled attic dormers. The windows are casement types. Internally, some roof timbers are encased, but reveal the original construction methods as stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
