Description

Roving Bridge, located twenty yards upstream from Iffley Lock, was built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a single elliptical arch with balustrades on both sides. The bridge includes steps and a landing adorned with a bronze bull's head. Additionally, there is a starting ring inscribed with "OUBC 1924."
