Description
The Court House, located on Church Way, is a house that possibly originated in the 17th century and was altered in the 18th century. It is two storeys high, constructed of rubble with ashlar quoins, and features a tiled roof along with two brick chimney shafts set on moulded stone bases. The modern three-light wood casement windows are framed in stone surrounds with keystones. The central door is half glazed and has a flat wooden hood supported by brackets. To the north, there is a one-storey service block. The Court House is part of a group that includes Church Cottage, the Church of St Mary, and the Rectory on Mill Lane.
