Description
The Church Hall, located on Church Way, is a Grade II listed building originally constructed as a 15th century tithe barn, with an internal arch from this period still remaining. The exterior of the building is a mid-19th century structure made of rubble with ashlar dressings and red brick in the gable end. It was restored and re-roofed in 1970. The building is single storey and features two-centred arches, with the central arch being blank and the others containing doors. There are four modern metal casements. The roof is thatched and has four brick chimneys, along with a wooden bell cupola. Two plaques are displayed on the front, one reading 'Iffley Parochial School MDCCXXVIII' and the other stating 'Infant School established 1854'.
