Description
Pembroke College's North Range, including the Library and North Wing, was built in 1673, with the gatehouse completed in 1694. The structure was refaced and remodeled in 1830 by Daniel Evans, an Oxford builder. To the west of the gatehouse is the Library, which incorporates the former refectory of the medieval Broadgates Hall. At the west end of the Library is a crosswing from 1620 that features a modern bay window. To the north of the Library is the former Master's Lodging, built in 1695, which was altered in 1846 and converted into rooms in 1928.
