Description
No. 92 on St Aldate's Street is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is two stories tall and has a roughcast timber frame with attics in two gables on the east front. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, and there is a red brick stack. The building underwent alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries.
On the ground floor, there is an early 19th-century doorframe flanked by a pair of double sash windows, topped with a moulded cornice. The first floor features 18th and 19th-century sash windows with moulded frames and cornices, and each gable has a 19th-century sash window. The north side has a large dormer with a Welsh slate roof and a modern sash window. The interior includes staircases.
