Description

This house, now a teacher's centre, dates from the 19th century, although it has earlier origins. The front is rendered, while the rear is brick with ridge stacks. It is three storeys high, with a six-window front, including a projecting four-window bay. The ground floor is rusticated. The entrance is on the left, featuring a six-panelled door with two glazed panels, a fanlight, and a pilaster surround. Five sash windows on the ground floor have stone surrounds, cornices, and horns. Six sash windows on the first floor have 3-pane glazing bars and moulded stone surrounds. Four similar, smaller windows are located in the attic floor. A moulded stone eaves cornice runs along the top, and there is a parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
