Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse consisting of two sections, built in the 17th century with 18th century additions and 20th century alterations. The right part is constructed from squared coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched slate roof with stone-coped gables and moulded kneelers. There are two stone end stacks with chamfered stone bases. The building has a two-unit plan with an 18th century addition to the left and a rear range that together form an L-shape. It is two storeys high and has a total of five windows, with the entrance located in the right part, which has a 20th century door. To the right of the entrance is a four-light stone mullioned window with a hood mould and label stop. On the first floor, there is a casement window and a renewed wood mullioned and transomed window with a keyblock head. The left part has 17th century origins and was raised in the 18th century. A gabled porch is approximately central and is flanked by three-light stone mullioned windows with hood moulds and label stops. The first floor features three three-light metal casements set in wood frames, with wood lintels above. The building has a brick dentilled eaves cornice, and the rear range has renewed brickwork. The interior has not been inspected.
