Description
This is an 18th-century stable and coach house range located approximately 35 metres northwest of Cottisford House. The stable is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a steeply pitched slate roof. It is a single storey with a loft space. The south side features three wooden casement windows with wooden lintels. An entrance in the right gable has a plank door within a wooden frame under a wooden lintel. Inside, the original stalls are still present. A coach house abuts the stable on the northern side, constructed of squared and coursed limestone with a steeply pitched slate roof and brick end stacks. This section is also single-storey, with an attic. A dwelling is situated on the left side, featuring an entrance with a plank door, a wooden surround, and a wooden lintel, as well as four casement windows on the ground floor. Two dormers with hipped roofs are visible. The coach house section on the right has carriage doors. The interior of the dwelling has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
