Description
Stratfield Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring a hipped concrete tile roof and brick end stacks. The building is designed in an L-shape with a rear left wing and stands two storeys tall, presenting a symmetrical three-window façade. A semi-circular arch is positioned above a four-panelled door that includes a fanlight. Keyed stone lintels are found above early 19th-century sash windows that have glazing bars. The rear outshut and the rear left wing contain an early 19th-century beaded four-panelled door and plank doors. To the right, there is an early 19th-century two-storey range that features a three-light leaded casement window at the rear. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
