Description

Nutlands is a house built around 1830, with later additions. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone and some brick, topped with Welsh-slate roofs and brick gable stacks. The building likely features a central-stair plan with rear ranges and is designed in the Regency style. It has two storeys and a symmetrical three-window front, which includes large 12-pane sash windows on either side of a central half-glazed door. The first floor has smaller 12-pane sashes that are connected by an ashlar sill band, which continues around the gable ends. A hipped-roofed slated verandah extends across the front, adorned with ornamental trellis panels that include segmental arches in front of the windows. The interior has not been inspected.
