Description
Cuttle Mill Stable, located approximately 20 meters to the southwest, is a stable and coach house that likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a Stonesfield-slate roof. The building is a single range, consisting of one storey plus a loft. The front facade includes a carriage opening on the left, a stable door, and a window, along with a central loft door set within a triangular gable. The interior has not been inspected. This structure is included for its group value, as Rousham Park is listed in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
