Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 8 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Michael, dates from the mid-18th century and is made of limestone. It has a sarcophagus shape, featuring a cavetto-moulded plinth and cornice. The lid is inscribed and includes a heraldic shield, commemorating Benjamin Swete, Gentleman, who died in 1744.
