Description
This is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It is built of squared coursed limestone and has a raised tile roof from the 20th century, along with renewed rafters and brick ridge and end stacks. The house has a three-unit plan and is two storeys high, featuring a four-window range. There is a blocked entrance on the left side, while the entrance on the right has a renewed plank door set in a wood frame with a wood lintel above. The ground floor includes five windows, which consist of 2- and 3-light 19th-century metal casements with wrought-iron casement fasteners, as well as some 20th-century windows. The first floor has two 3-light and two 2-light metal casements, also with wrought-iron casement fasteners and sheet glass. Inside, there are chamfered beams and 19th-century fireplaces, along with a straight flight stair. The house is included for its group value with nearby structures.
