Description
The stable and coachhouse range, located approximately 25 meters northeast of Cotman House, is a Grade II listed building dating from the 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched roof covered with 20th-century tiles. The building has stone coped gables with moulded kneelers and a brick stack at one end. It is designed in an L-plan and is a single-storey structure. There are five entrances, including plank, carriage, and stable doors, most of which have cambered arched stone heads. The brew house, located on the right, includes a tall three-light stone mullioned window with a hood mould and label stops. Inside, the brew house has a stone fireplace, while the stable on the left contains three stalls and a floor made of stone pitchings.
