UPPER HEYFORD HIGH STREET SP42NE (South side) 2/146 Barn approx. ion SE of Two Trees Farmhouse GV II

Barn. Early C18. Limestone rubble with wooden lintels; artificial stone-slate roof. 4-bay plan. Full-height double doors, to left of centre, and lower opposed doors to rear; triangular gable vents. Interior: 3 trusses, with collars and tiebeams, carry 2 rows of butt purlins with through tenons. The barns and farmhouse form part of a quadrangle of contemporary farm buildings (q.v.).
