Description

The Beeches consists of three cottages, originally built in the mid-18th century and later combined into a single house. The exterior is of squared, coursed ironstone with a thatched roof, featuring brick ridge and end stacks. The original one-unit cottages now form a three-unit dwelling. The house has two storeys and a three-window front. There are three entrances, one of which has been blocked and replaced with a window. The windows have chamfered wood lintels and include three-light metal casements in wooden frames, with wrought-iron fasteners and lead cames. The first floor mirrors the ground floor with three similar three-light casements. A single-storey extension on the left-hand side, dating to the 20th century, is not considered to be of particular architectural interest. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
