Description

Sunny Bank is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, constructed of coursed limestone rubble. It features a steeply pitched raised thatched roof and has brick end stacks, one of which is set on a chamfered stone base. The building has a 2-unit plan with a 20th-century extension added to the rear. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range. The entrance is off-centre to the left and includes a 20th-century door within a wooden frame and hood. The ground floor has three 3-light wooden casements, while the first floor has three 3-light metal casements set in wooden frames. The windows are adorned with wooden lintels and wrought-iron casement fasteners and springs. The interior has not been inspected.
