Description
Cross Hill Cottage is a small house, likely originating from the 17th century. It is built of coursed marlstone rubble and features a wooden lintel, topped with a concrete plain-tile roof and a brick end stack. The cottage has a single-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front has three windows and breaks forward on the right, where there is a 6-panel door with a flat canopy above a 2-light casement window. To the left, which has earlier walling, there are two 3-light casements on the first floor and one below. The steep-pitched roof has the stack positioned to the left. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
