Description
Wildmere Farm, now a house, is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with stone copings and brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The central entrance includes a gabled porch with a panelled door that is partly glazed, along with an overlight displaying a geometrical design. Flanking the doorway are pairs of sash windows with glazing bars, each three panes wide. The brick flat arches above these windows are partly covered by imitation stone. The first floor has four similar windows. A dentilled brick eaves cornice adds detail to the roofline. At the rear, the building is finished with regular coursed ironstone rubble. The interior has not been inspected.
