Description

This is a house, originally built in the 16th century and later faced in the 19th century. It is now divided into two separate houses. The ground floor is timber-framed and clad with painted brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. The roof is tiled, with a return gable to the left and a half-hipped gable with a small decorative feature (gablet) to the right. A taller return gable is also present on the right. There are brick chimneys at the rear, one taller on the left and one lower on the right.

The house is two storeys high with attics. The windows are casements, with one window in each gable and four windows on each floor. The ground-floor windows are set in square bays that project out from the building, flanking the two front entrances, which have boarded doors. Small pentice roofs cover the tops of these bays on both the left and right sides. A carriage entrance to the rear is centrally located, with some of the original timber framing still visible.
