Description

The walls to the vegetable garden located northeast of St Michaels are likely from the late 1830s, built at the same time as St Michaels. They are constructed of brick laid in garden wall bond and feature brick coping. The walls have square section gate piers on the southwest side, which include inset blocks of rock-faced stone topped with ball finials. There is also a pair of 20th-century iron gates that have wrought iron decoration above the dograil and below the toprail. These walls are included for their group value with St Michaels.
