Description
The terrace walls and steps to the garden south of St Michaels are likely from the early 20th century, created during a time when the garden was designed by the owner's brother, Johnstone Lee, a newspaper magnate. The walls are made of rusticated stone.
The coped wall located immediately south of the house features a series of deep low buttresses on its south side. Steps descend to the second terrace, with flanking ramped walls that are topped with ball finials. The walls of the second terrace are adorned with urns.
These structures are included for their group value with St Michaels.
