Description

HIGH STREET 1. 1746 (North West Side) TQ 5838 NW 1/340 Nos 90 to 94 (even) II 2. Mid C19 facade of 4 storeys. The top 2 storeys are pebble-dashed, and the 1st floor is stuccoed. Slate roof. 3 sashes in moulded italianate architraves. On the lst floor these have cornices and brackets and 2 of the windows are triple sashes. Pilasters from 3rd to 1st floor. The lst floor has long and short rusticated quoins. Late C19 shopfronts with cast iron pillars and scrolled brackets. Nos 90 to 94 (even) form the return side of Nos 8, 8A and 9 London Road.
