Description
Leesden is a house that likely has a 17th century rear wing and an 18th century front, which was refronted around 1820. The ground floor is made of red brick with grey headers, while the first floor is tile hung, and the side elevations are weather-boarded. The house has a tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks and is two storeys tall with three windows featuring 20th century casements. The central doorcase has a flat wooden hood, decorative paterae, pilasters, and panelled reveals. The roof features three hips at the rear. Inside, there is an 18th century bressumer in the dining room, an early 17th century bressumer at the rear of the house, and some wide floorboards that date back to the 16th or early 17th century.
