Description
The Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the early to mid-19th century, although it may be older. It is timber-framed and covered with weatherboards, featuring a brick stack and chimney shaft, and has a peg-tile roof.
The building has a small two-room layout with a central entrance facing north along the street. The stack is located at the left (east) end, and the cottage is two storeys high.
The exterior is not symmetrical, with a two-window front that includes various 20th-century casements with glazing bars, and the ground floor has diamond panes of leaded glass. The central doorway features a 20th-century plank door beneath a shallow hood supported by shaped timber brackets. The roof runs parallel to the street and connects to the roof over Ivy Cottages on the right.
The interior was not available for inspection during the survey.
