Description

Woodside is a house located in Iden Green, dating from the 18th century and altered in the early 19th century. The front elevation is weatherboarded with beaded edges, while the rear is tile hung. The roof is tiled and half-hipped on the right side, featuring two brick chimneystacks. The eaves are supported by deep wooden brackets. The house has two storeys and three windows; the first floor includes 16-pane sash windows with jalousies, and the ground floor has one 16-pane sash and two canted bay windows with jalousies. A central weatherboarded porch is complemented by additional trellis work. The house stands on a cemented plinth. At the rear, there is an 18th-century separate building that has been joined to the main house, with a ground floor of red brick and a tile-hung first floor, along with a brick chimneystack. Additionally, there is an early 19th-century stable building made of red brick with grey headers and a tiled roof.
