Description

This sundial, dated 1634, is located approximately 5 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St Martin in Speldhurst, Ashurst Hill. It features a plain cylindrical sandstone shaft that stands on a one-step plinth and is topped with a plain cap. The brass sundial includes a pointer and is inscribed, indicating it was made by Felix Allan in 1634.
