Description

The Oasthouse at Old Place is an early 19th-century structure located on Church Road in Sandhurst. The building features a ground floor made of red brick, with a weatherboarded first floor and a half-hipped slate roof. Attached to the main oasthouse are four brick oasts constructed in Sussex bond, each topped with conical tarred roofs that still have their cowls and fantails, along with drying racks. There is also a 20th-century brick building attached to the oasthouse.
