Description

The barn at Frame Farm, located approximately 30 metres northeast of the farmhouse, is a 18th-century structure. It is timber-framed and covered in weatherboarding, resting on a brick plinth. The roof is half-hipped and plain tiled. The barn consists of five bays and features queen post construction with a collar beam. It has staggered purlins, along with some added diagonal beams. The wall frame includes jowled posts and diagonal tension braces. There is a central gabled cart entrance, and a lean-to on the northeast side, which is mostly modern and supported by three square posts.
