Description
This description is for a pair of chest tombs located about 9 meters southeast of the porch of the Church of All Saints in Brenchley. They date from around the mid-18th century and are made of freestone. The tombs are low and positioned next to the churchyard path, featuring chamfered lids. The northern chest is dedicated to Isaac Lewis and is dated 1745, while the inscription on the southern chest is illegible. These tombs are part of a notable group that includes the Wimshurst headstones and bodystones located in the northeast corner of the churchyard.
